Albergue Xuvenil Area

It has a fantastic location fronting the beach and looking across the estuary. It's a huge and quite dated hostel, but if it's simple or group accommodation you want and you have transport to get into town (10 mins away), its a great place to stop. There is a canteen for large groups - we didn't use it but looks they can cater. Parking is limited and so are any local facilities (no nearby shops).

We attended a youth camp organized by the Xunta de Galicia. It was a very rewarding experience, with a perfect location and the beach right next door. The counselors were empathetic and attentive. It was a wonderful setting to enjoy the sea and nature.

We walked two kilometers to play on some empty basketball and soccer courts they have, with four children between the ages of four and ten, and they wouldn't let us in. They said it wasn't allowed. Long live public spaces in Galicia!
