Innerfraganter Wirt

I was hiking the Alpe-Adria trail and stayed here on my 5th night of the hike and it was by the far the best overnight stay of my trip. Christine and her husband own and run the hotel and made me feel SO welcome and at home. It was the best hospitality I had experienced in my entire trip. I was the only guest on this particular night because the hotel was technically closed for the weekend but they had made an exception for my booking. Christina and her husband greeted me upon arrival and I had the most delicious dinner made by Christina. It was the best meal I had in Austria. The morning before completing the last leg of my hike, Christina made breakfast especially for me and even accommodated my dairy allergy. I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could and would certainly stay here again if in Innerfragant.

This place is for you if you want to feel like home. The owners are super friendly, they have it as lifestyle and it shows. Location is just 1.5 km from ski resort parking lot and you can take free ski bus (though crowded in high season).

If you don't like crowded places and want to stay close to nature this is place for you. Families with kids will love it - clean rooms, delicious meals (my kids couldn't wait for dinner and dessert every day ! :)) Hosts always willing to help, suggest places/hikking routes worth to see. Thanks to Christine and her family we had perfect vacation time. Thank you once again !
