Camp Labrca Tolmin

It is clear that this is neither an experienced nor a well-run camp. Besides a good location near the river, I have nothing else positive to say. The tent area is small and overcrowded, the facilities are dirty and poorly maintained, and the smelly septic tank is by far the worst feature. Because of its odor, it is unbearable to sit on the terrace at all. They claim there is no electricity for tents, yet at the same time sell it as an additional feature on their website—which is outright misleading. Be careful, because they also refuse to refund the money if you use camp electricity for something as simple as charging your phone. Additionally, there is some kind of garbage dump nearby, so throughout the day and early morning, large trucks drive on the road that runs through the middle of the camp. To make matters worse, they even interfere with their guests’ property. Our 40m extension cord was taken without any notice and put away somewhere, so at first we thought it had been stolen. In the end, it turned out they had simply stored it in their warehouse for no apparent reason. I strongly recommend finding another camp nearby if possible.

Good Camping spot. Great location right next to the river and far enough from the road where noise doesnt really become an issue. The only negatives for me are, that the seating area for campers is located right next to the septic tank, which means the entire place stinks badly. Not the entire time but for most of it. The restaurant was closed as well so you were not allowed to use the roofed ceiling area. The other negative were the toilets and showers. Showers were nice, but they are in the same room as the toilets which I personally find a bit disgusting, especially since it always smelled a bit bad. Staff was great, as I said earlier, the location is top notch and the price is very agreeable too. They even have a playground for kids and a basketball court among other things on site.

Except average and highly overpriced restaurant (about 50% compared to restaurants in Tolmin), I can't tell nothing wrong. Staff is extremely helpful in anyway, restrooms are clean, you have even washing machines there! Lot of activities for children, playgrounds for various sports, river Soča a few steps far.. They will charge your power banks.. They really try to provide you the best experience. Yes, there the restaurant but it not their main business.
