Camping Dr. Lauth

Amazing stay at Camping Dr Lauth! This was a last minute decision and I was worried after some of the reviews. We are English and sadly our language skills are not very good. The staff here were amazing and really helpful. The pitches are packed in tight but everyone is very friendly and helpful. The shower was one of the best I have had. It is very powerful! The location is fabulous with a bus stop at the bottom of the road with cable car stops nearby. The mountain views are amazing with some great walks all very close.

Great camping, nice owners! One of the Best weve been, its not rly big one. Calm, clean, with beautiful view on Zugspitze and other peaks. Restaurant, swimming pool, spiel platz with trampoline. 1 km away from centre of Ahrwald. Here starts 7km trekking up to the Zugspitze. 3 days, 2 adults, 1 kid, 1 dog, 1 car (outside on parking), electrecity = 192eur.

Arrived without booking and had a nice grassy pitch with electric. Very friendly and helpful campsite owner. Nice clean facilities. 15 minute stroll down to the town with bars and lots of shopping. Beautiful views of the Zugspitze. Easy bus access to the cable car. We didn’t use the restaurant but it looked good. Would visit again.
