The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast

Lyne had the misfortune of greeting my daughter and I on the afternoon of Wednesday 22/5/24 on her door step looking like two drowned rats on the penultimate day of our Coast to Coast walk.That was the day a whole months-worth of rain landed on the North Yorkshire Moors. She took control immediately taking all that was wet off us and set to drying all that she could for us before we left her for Robin Hood's Bay the next day. What a place she and her husband have, which they have lovingly restored together.We were looked after very well and very much enjoyed meeting Lyne and staying in her beautiful property.

We walked the ST Hildas way and the Old Mill at Egton Bridge was our last overnight stay. The rooms were excellent, great showers and comfy bed very clean.Lynn our host was very kind and helpful she even had a boot rack. The breakfast was fantastic we would definitely stay again. The setting of the old mill is beautiful right next to the river and stepping stones. Thank you Lynn

What a hidden gem of a place...beautiful location in Esk Valley next to river. Lynn is the epitome of hospitality, nothing too much trouble. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Excellent cooked breakfast, just sad we couldn't stay longer but will return. Thank you.
