Pension Aperol Hřensko

Pension Aperol was a perfect location for an overnight stay during a cycling tour along the Elbe River. Check-in was so easy, there is a very comfortable double bed and with good communication and service offerings from the host. The accommodation is also easily accessible from Schöna on the German side of the river via the ferry.

The hotel made a very good impression: everything is excellently equipped, the room has a refrigerator with two bottles of water and even a bottle of wine – a very nice gesture from the owner. The room is clean, and you can see that it has been recently renovated. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is great – everything is of a high standard. But there is one major drawback that unfortunately negates all the positives – the horrible smell of mold. It is almost impossible to stay in the room, let alone sleep there. The smell is so strong and unpleasant that it turns the stay into a nightmare. It's a real shame, because the hotel has great potential.

We stayed one night at the hotel, in room number 1. The furniture is new, and everything we need is there. Unfortunately, there is one serious drawback that overshadows everything else: The room smelled extremely strongly of mold, making it difficult to sleep. Furthermore, the toilet brush in the bathroom was completely dirty, which left a very unpleasant impression.
