Kampaoh Somo Parque Playa

Unbelievably bad camping ground. Owner is super unfriendly and just screams around all day. I had my car parked in front of the restaurant for a few minutes, he almost hit me he was so angry.

The tipis are fine, and we liked the experience. Ours had a bathroom, which is something you appreciate at a campsite. But all of this was marred by disappointment. We felt cheated as soon as we arrived. It's nothing like what you see on the Kampaoh website. It's not a proper glamping site. They have tipis set up on a campsite, surrounded by caravans, bungalows of all kinds, etc., and the management is pretty poor. The beach is far away, so you have to go by car. You can only get in until midnight; any later, you'll have to find your own way, and there's no parking nearby. If you ask for anything missing, like toilet paper, they charge you because they're not Kampaoh... It's really expensive for what it really is!

What a bunch of useless people. Some guy shows up on an electric scooter (claiming to be the bathroom cleaner), blasting flamenco music from a speaker, without even a "good morning," of course, to tell us we can't put our tent up off the roof; the height of absurdity, telling us we can't camp on private property where we're paying to camp and spend the night. Unbelievable. And don't expect toilet paper in the bathroom because he says it gets stolen. In short: zero service, zero customer service...
