Casa Elena

We were on our way to Playa de las catedrales, so we spent the night before here to be close. We met Elena and her son, both very hospitable, communicative (no so much in English) and charming. Thier place is very nice and clean, and a few ducks and cats live in the yard. The room is on the top floor of the house, so you have to climb (not handicap friendly). So if you want to be close to Playa de las catedrales it's a very good spot, and if you speak Spanish send our regards to Elena.

We came in the off-season before the summer rush. The entrance to the house is a little bit complicated from the road coming from Lugo, the house is actually 100 m farther from the exit that Google says. The hosts at the pension told us that Google has not corrected it. So be patient finding the house. The house is really pretty, beautiful garden, we sat under the lemon tree to have some lunch and eat one of the lemons. The room is very spacious, very quiet, very clean. The shower is very small. We had breakfast for five euros each. The hosts of the pension are very nice, the mamá is a sweet lady who told us a lot about the life in the area. I highly recommend to stay here for the night and have breakfast, totally worth it. The house is very close to the cathedrals beach.

We loved staying at this beautiful guest house. It has a beautiful, peaceful garden. The room was traditional, clean and very comfortable. The host very kindly washed and dried our clothes for us as we had arrived from a festival and needed fresh clothes! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and were well looked after. The location is excellent - very close to the beach, quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very kind and looked after us well. Thank you very much!
