The Old Pilchard Works

Mousehole is so pretty and quaint, and the location of The Old Pilchard Works two minutes’ walk from everything was just perfect. The room was fresh, clean, comfy, and luxurious. Everything was SO pristine - even down to the paintwork, the cleanliness of the en suite, and quality of the bedding; I noticed these things and absolutely think they deserve a mention! Tracey was so welcoming and friendly; she even left us homemade scones, jam (first!) and clotted cream to have on arrival, and that in itself with a delicious cup of Cornish tea and fresh milk was SO welcome after our long drive. Altogether, thoroughly lovely! I promise you won’t be disappointed! 🤩

The Old Pilchards Works is a home away from home. Tracey is a welcoming and attentive host who made sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. Her tips and recommendations were very useful, as I stayed during a very busy time of the year. The room was more like a small studio flat, very spacious & with wonderful sea view. Mousehole is one of the prettiest places in Cornwall. I am looking forward to coming back and staying at Tracey’s wonderful place!

We have stayed in Mousehole a few times now and I happened to sort of stumble across this gem of a B&B and how great this made our perfect stay. Tracy was an amazing host from start to finish and gave great ideas for things to do or places to eat. Her breakfast was beautiful, tasty and freshly homemade. Excellent little touches throughout our stay and we felt really comfortable and welcomed. Room was amazing too, it was most definitely one of best b&b’s that we have ever stayed in and we have travelled far and wide. Well done to you both, what a credit. We will return.
