I had a lovely one night stay here on the Camino, it’s very convenient and a good alternative to staying in Deba. Although food isn’t served here, they do sell homemade apple juice & wine, and some microwave meals - there’s a small area where you can store and prep some food but not a full kitchen. There is also a very good tavern restaurant about 30 minutes before on the Camino, it’s opens at 19:30 so if you eat quickly it’s possible to make it back before dark! The place is beautiful, overlooking vineyards and pastures of sheep. The rooms and beds are very clean and comfortable.

I booked the room this afternoon May 28th 2017 as I didn't want to stay at Zumaia. I did not know that the location is directly on the pilgrim way. The room is big and clean. The shower has enough water pressure and hot water. There are two Restaurants close by, but sadly both where closed. When I told it to the landlady, she told me that she will ask her husband to drive me to another restaurant. After a short time the invited me to join them, as they also like to have dinner. We had good food and a nice chat. My breakfast the next morning was delicious. I can recommend this place for pilgrims or for other travelers. 👍👣👣👣😎 buen camino

Stopped here overnight on my Camino route to deba. Calm and peaceful Surroundings with views onto their small vineyard. Sheets didn’t seem very clean. The owner was very nice, helpful and flexible.
