KRONOTOP HOSTEL in Triglav National Park

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and welcoming hostel. The owners and staff are super friendly and flexible — they made us feel right at home and gave us great tips on how to spend our time in the area. The hostel has a gorgeous garden, a big dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen with two guest fridges for your own food. The breakfast is tasty, and the coffee is really good! There’s free Wi-Fi and parking, which was super convenient. They offer both dorm rooms and private rooms — some with private bathrooms — so there's something for every kind of traveler. The beds are super comfortable with high-quality bedding — I was honestly impressed! The location is great too: nicely tucked away but still on the main road, just 15 minutes from Bovec and right next to the parking spot for the Fratarica canyoning tour. And the prices are very reasonable, especially if you book directly on their website. We will definitely come back!

We spent four wonderful days in June at Hostel Kronotop – our first time ever in a hostel, and we were absolutely thrilled! The hostel is very tidy and clean, and the bathrooms are always well-maintained. You can tell that the young owners put their heart and soul into making sure every guest feels comfortable. We especially enjoyed the bonfire one evening, to which everyone was invited – a great opportunity to relax and end the day and meet nice people. The small breakfast buffet was beautifully presented. The large, well-equipped kitchen and dining room were always available. The hostel is in a quiet location, just a few minutes from Bovec. For those traveling by car, motorcycle, or bicycle, there is convenient parking and storage right in the courtyard. Overall, we were very satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit!

A charming place with a unique atmosphere and delicious food! The property has a large garden and the option of a bonfire 🔥 – perfect for evening chats outdoors. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area 👌 The interiors look freshly renovated, everything is clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the food is truly delicious! 😋 The location is great – quiet, with a view, and close to attractions. There's a hotel right next door where you can enjoy a good coffee and spend a pleasant evening ☕✨ The only downsides: the shower in the double room is a bit dated. The peace and quiet are the biggest advantages of this place. Despite this – the location is a 5-star, and the whole experience is definitely worth recommending! 🌿
