Casa da Alcáçova

Wonderful stay at this beautiful unique property. Hosts are gracious and rooms are very comfortable . Breakfast was delicious! Wish we could have stayed longer. So much to see and do in Santarem too!

You have to stay here when in town. One night is not enough. This place is like heaven. Location amazing. Building is an old castle that's been converted. Decor is delightful. Breakfast selection is fabulous. And the service from the moment you enter, to being escorted to your room, and the breakfast service was the best we've encountered so far. The bottom line is: You have to stay here" Our only regret is we only stayed one night.

We had a wonderful stay here in Santarem and Sergio was a great and knowledgeable local host. The room and house had lots of character and charm but all of the modern amenities you would expect. Breakfast was excellent in the morning. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
