Absolutely wonderful food. Cooked by a chef who worked under nathan outlaw before working in looe for the past five years. High class food for more than reasonable prices. Two courses, two sides and a bottle of wine for two being about £80. Service was incredibly friendly and attentive and the staff seemed genuinely pleased to have you there. Cant recommend it enough

The restaurant has just reopened and it is fantastic! A mix of small plates and mains, with delicious desserts. The new chef is a master with fish…I had sardines and plaice. Everything was perfection…with garnishes that elevate it way above normal ‘pub’ fayre. Get down there while you can still get a table!!

Never Judge a book by an old cover We have passed this place a few times and to be honest have always avoided it, but they have now opened a dedicated restaurant and someone recommended it as they knew the Chef Charlie, and in their words-he can cook. From the moment we stepped through the door we were met with an incredibly helpful and, I have to say lovely, front of house team, we visited with our 14 month old daughter and they really couldn't do enough for us, which if you have kids know this is a good start, so kudos to them. The food, what can I say, at one point I said to my partner it was the best food I had had in Cornwall-and we visited a lot, however, when I tried the Sardines with a side of Green Beans I had to change my opinion. That dish was the best dish I had ever tried, so light yet bursting with flavour it was truly amazing. Whilst we were there we had the mackerel pate, again probably one of the best I'd tried. If you are ever on Looe, I would suggest you give it a go-the food is off the charts and with the service to match
