Lakeside Inn

The host and her family are great. Very nice and helpful people. Felt more like visiting friends than staying at a b&b. Great location near the lake. Good breakfast, limited amounts but we could ask for more - I like this strategy better than throwing away leftovers. Overall a great place to stay at.

We stayed one night at the Lakeside Inn. Sandra is an exceptionally friendly host and answered our questions in advance super quickly and competently. The welcome was wonderful, warm, and she took her time with us. The room/bathroom/balcony were very clean. The interior design style... It should be noted that she only took over in May 2025 and had to open in June. She will be renovating it gradually. The breakfast room has everything you need, and new furniture has already found its place. You can make your own coffee from the machine. The breakfast exceeded my expectations (cereal, various rolls, bread, pastries, fruit, sausage, cheese... If the weather had been better, you could have eaten outside. Lake Mittelstättersee is nearby, as are several restaurants. All in all, there's a lot of potential, and it will be an outstanding place to stay ;)

We felt very comfortable in this charming vintage-style B&B, which was certainly due in part to the very welcoming atmosphere and, of course, the incredibly warm and friendly hostess. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast outside. Centrally located by the lake, we could easily get everywhere by bike. We simply have to go back! 😀
