Hostel Decin

Hostel is well situated near Sächsische Schweiz and in close proximity to main railway station. Despite of good location, some rooms are close to main road making them very noisy during day and night. Contact with reception is limited (15-20 daily) and make travel inconvenient when you want to check in or to leave baggage earlier. Most of the cooking facilities are provided in room but fridge is shared in the common corridor. For this price (130 eur per 2 nights), this is kind of inappropriate.

The family room is by the street and used to be a former shop. So the wall is just a glass separating you from the street, which makes it really loud at night. You literally hear every passing vehicle and people walking to the train station, which is right across. Also there's no warm water in the shower. Even in peak summer, the water was freezing.

Clean and contemporary lodging inside of an old building. Low water pressure in top floor rooms means your shower may take longer than expected.
