La Perla de Frigiliana

Perfect stay ! We were so pleased with our room/suite.. the view.. the place and location are breathtaking.. the host was extremely friendly and welcoming

What an incredible experience at La Perla! After a winding, scenic drive from the airport, we found ourselves in the most beautiful oasis. My advice is to read over the PDF directions provided by La Perla. We only followed google maps and it had us overshoot the entrance gates of the B&B. We turned left after La Perla, down a very precarious sloping dirt road that we had to reverse out of and turn around. So keep an eye out for the big gates on your left! La Perla is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. It is clean and spacious with a gorgeous pool to cool off in. Definitely needed since it gets so hot there. There are avocado, mango, persimmon and lemon trees on the property. I loved the included breakfast with local Spanish cheese and charcuterie, eggs made to order, fresh orange juice, fruits and fresh baked bread. The hosts, Lauren and Sergio, were very welcoming and gave us lots of advice on what to visit in the area. They speak English, Spanish, French and Dutch! What’s really cool about this B&B is that it is an experience. You don’t just go there for a place to sleep. La Perla de Frigiliana is a destination. It was so special and memorable. It was a romantic getaway that I never wanted to end.

Very nice and cosy weekend getaway! It's a quiet place and the garden is very neat and well kept and the pool is big enough to have a swim in it. The rooms are also very tidy, clean and big. The atmosphere in the whole Villa is great! The breakfast is included and will be served to your table (no buffet). The breakfast includes a diversified selection (fruits, ham, cheese, freshly cooked eggs as you want, fresh OJ, etc) but we didn't get sparkling wine nor salmon. Besides breakfast, this place offers plenty of drinks, some snacks and the possibility to have lunch and/or dinner altogether for reasonable prices. But morosely, the house rules say, it's forbidden to bring neither food nor drinks, that's the only reason why 1 star is deducted.
