Hotel Pokljuka

I recently stayed at Hotel Pokljuka and overall the hotel itself is wonderful. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the check-in experience was excellent — the receptionist was extremely kind, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, the restaurant service was disappointing. We were traveling with a one-year-old child and politely asked whether the soup could be served a bit earlier than the rest of the meals, especially since there were only about five guests in the restaurant and we had already been waiting around 40 minutes. Instead of understanding our situation, the staff responded that they did not appreciate us “behaving like that,” and afterward we felt largely ignored for the remainder of the meal. Because of this, the restaurant service is the only aspect that significantly needs improvement. Everything else about the hotel was pleasant, and with more attentive and guest-oriented restaurant service, the overall experience would be excellent.

The hotel looks nice, but unfortunately we were denied entry to the bar as we were not staying in the hotel despite the bar being empty. They don’t like money i guess. We then went to hotel Center 5min away.

Restaurant a bit Soul less but the pinsa was very tasty. The room was quiet despite a large amount of teenagers in the hotel. The packed lunch was great during the hike.
