Very nice accommodation. Unfortunately, there were no sun loungers in the garden. Great food including breakfast and a fantastic view.

This grand hotel, perched on a rugged coastline, offers breathtaking views of Carantec Bay. A recent renovation provides exceptionally comfortable and refined rooms. The generous use of natural wood and soothing colors creates a Zen-like atmosphere, while every essential detail (door and window frames, faucets, bedding, furniture, etc.) has clearly been meticulously considered by an architectural firm that dislikes ostentation. The restaurant was strangely closed on a Bastille Day weekend (!). This internal decision was all the more regrettable given the exceptional quality of the breakfast offerings, overseen and created by Chef Nicolas Carro, which clearly promised a superb dining experience (a selection of remarkable hams, gravlax salmon, fresh fruit salad, etc.). This strange situation can be seen as the concrete result, undoubtedly imposed on the entrepreneur against his will, of government policies whose promise of "work more to earn more" has proven to be a sinister lie, paid for dearly by the loss of appeal of this demanding sector. The staff is attentive and efficient. The centralized booking service of this small Penguin Route Group, with its remarkable corporate culture, intelligently offered me a particularly competitive rate for my late booking. I highly recommend a swim in the waters of this friendly waterfowl.
