I hiked for two weeks on the GR5 and this was the campsite I liked the least. If you're looking for a quiet nature campsite, this is not your thing. It's very busy and crowded, and there's noise until late in the night. There's a dedicated place for hikers and cyclists with a tent but the campsite doesn't enforce their own rules so there were also cars parked in this area, and many campers stayed there for much longer than 1 or 2 nights. There's also no place to charge your phone.

Camping site itself is ok, the camping spot is pretty large. A recurring issue on campings seems to be the warmwater, showering means you are playing russian roulette with the temperature, one second you get hypothermia, the other second hell water is just the right temperature compared to what comes out of the showerhead. I would have loved to have a more private spot, as in, the spots could have been surrounded by conifers or something, the road were we were on was a sand trail, due to dry times when cars passed a cloud of dust would settle over the camping equipment. We had a good time nonetheless.

We’ve been here now 2 times and I have had a very fun time there, especially walking in the nature around Beaufort is incredible! The wasps were quite annoying though… The Roj Pizza & kebab was really delicious!!
