We had one night sleep at the Carinthia Appartements riding back from our motorbike tour in Croatia and Slovenia. Timing was true end of September so everything in nature and traffic was a bit more calm - except the local Octoberfest in Mallnitz - which did not disturb our sleep :-) One reason for the good and deep sleep was the tremendous Appartement. Especially the bed! I have never in my traveling life experienced such a bed in Hotels or Appartements buildings. The wonderful electrically adjustable bed with exclusive comfortable mattress was true luxury! The Appartement was fully equipped for a longer stay, including a small dish washer. The balcony opened a beatiful mountain view. Truly a place to stay for a longer slot in this gorgeous environment. The personnel at the Carinthia Appartements were most friendly and supportive for our stay: warmest thanks from our side to make our stay so very nice

Carinthia Appartements are excellent. The owners are kind, enthusiastic, and passionate about the area and their business. We had a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with a kitchenette/living space that was open concept. A small balcony to sit and have coffee in the morning or wine in the evening was quaint and beautiful with the mountains in the background. There was great temperature control in the apartment as well or you could easily open the windows for fresh air or a nice breeze. The building is walking distance to the quiet town center where you can eat at some restaurants, have a drink, or do some local shopping. A couple doors down from the apartments is a sauna and pool complex. There is a gondola lift nearby for hiking or skiing. Or just go 5 minutes down the road for some light hiking. I would definitely recommend the Carinthia Appartements!

Nice location, walking distance from everywhere in the village and still quiet and relaxing, alongside the river. Friendly owners who gave us plenty of information about Mallnitz and surroundings. Kitchenette in the 1-bedroom apartment is very small, and the beds were a bit too soft for after a day off hiking. The rest was good :)
