Rooms were clean and functional. Bed was comfortable. Service here is exceptional! All the staff here clearly take pride in there jobs, no matter the task. They were so busy and over run when we visited, but nothing was an issue. The views in the area were great. I'd recommend this place to stay hands down if you're in the area!

We have been traveling Europe for 8 days now. These are the comfiest beds we have encountered so far. The king is not a king. It is 2 twins crammed together. This is the only downfall with comfort. The pillows are very soft, so if you like firm pillows (like me) you will need to double up. This is also the only hotel we have encountered to have a fan in the room. The bathroom has a heated towel rack. The water pressure is perfect. Bathroom is spacious enough for 2 occupants. The view of the loch is unmatched at any hotel in town. It is only a 5 minute drive to town centre. There is free parking on premises. It is a slanted lot, though. On a hill. Breakfast is included. Full Scottish breakfast. Also yogurt, cereal, toast etc. If you are a coffee drinker, like us, we recommend you get the tea instead. The coffee tastes like dirt. That is the only part of breakfast we did not enjoy. If you are a smoker, do not waste your money on a balcony room like we did. You cannot smoke on it. Had we been told at check in that there was no smoking on the balcony, we wouldn't have gotten the most expensive room. This is why I only rated 4 stars instead of 5. There is a LARGE fine if you smoke anywhere other than the designated areas. They use the Scottish Executive No Smoking Policy as an excuse on the pamphlet, but that only applies to hospitals so I am not sure how it is applicable here. There is a smoking patio off the bar with loch views and a small covered smoking section near the back entrance. I wouldn't say it was worth the £324 we spent for 2 nights, but had we not paid for a balcony I believe the pricing would have been more reasonable. All in all, a good stay in the highlands.

An economical place to stay, clean and efficient. Small room with no amenities, no coffee machine ,fridge or microwave,.no smart TV or movies. Big dining room that serves a pretty big breakfast. Many choices. We did like the breakfast here. Staff was friendly.beautiful view of the loch from the dinning room.
