Casa Bazna

We walked here from Mediaș on the Via Transylvanica. Not a long walk so we arrived just after midday but weren't allowed to check-in until 4 PM. The restaurant was closed so no lunch, dinner or breakfast available. Bazna is extremely quiet and we saw nothing open for food as we walked in. We were told to go to Dobsi about a kilometer up the road as their restaurant was open. Water was provided in our room and the room and bathroom were comfortable. It's actually a very quiet spot. Then two large buses of German tourists arrived. They were accommodated elsewhere on the property and we hardly heard them. Our room had a shaded balcony with comfortable chairs that was a pleasant place to sit.

We were accommodated in a separate cottage whit a large and clean room. The room had a large terrace whit a garden view. The spa complex around 1.5-2 km from accommodation. The negative things: - We did not find the staff to be friendly. The bedclothes were wrinkled as if someone had already used them. The breakfast is between 7-8:30 AM. We are arrived there 08’:10 but the supply was already quite poor but the price was a same like those who went early and the table was full.

A terrible accommodation. Host is okay but not good. Location is not suitable for disabled people. First room offered had mold in the bathroom. And accessible via a steel staircase. After discovering mold, we requested a new room. Second room smelled terribly and had a leak in the bathroom. Water came out of the toilet and shower tray. Stayed for two days, breakfast and dinner were the same both days, tasteless and cold. Bar was present and open but no change available. I do not recommend this location.
