If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We stumbled upon this place while hiking and staying at a nearby farm, and this has got to be the most delicious meal we've ever had!! The place itself is adorable, and the prices are incredible (we spent less than 40€ on a large meal with wine). We got the spaghetti with oil, spaghetti Bolognese, beef stew, and the cheese/cured meat plate. The spaghetti with oil and beef stew were by far my favorites, but everything was incredibly tasty!!

The Asqua refuge is ideal for those who want to spend their holidays in complete tranquility and relaxation surrounded by nature along the countless paths traced by the CAI in the park of the Casentino Forests. It is possible to practice daily ring excursions near the refuge or near Camaldoli, spend hours on mountain bikes or simply go for walks in the woods. Beautiful

Cheerful and warm welcome and lovely peach cheesecake. Peaceful atmosphere immersed in the forest and good food: truly recommended!
