Ben Nevis Holiday Park

Great two night stay in a hot tub lodge for two. Clean and very cosy for our arrival. Despite the January weather we made use of the hot tub too which was great. Open living/dining area and a very comfortable bedroom with en suite and dressing area. Friendly staff too. The site was spacious with chickens wandering and cows in the field behind our lodge. The kitchen area had a small selection of tea/coffee but always good to bring your own/add to what they have. Only things I’d point out which I thought could be better was the TV in the living area. An Amazon TV which lagged quite a lot and the ‘apps’ section didn’t work at all unless logged in to a prime account. Also would be great if it included a hair dryer. It did have hoover/iron and hangers etc but a hair dryer would’ve been beneficial. I also believe the cafe on site caters to different dietary requirements and has a few gluten free options but didn’t eat here.

Staff here are very friendly. The location is stunning. Only downside was our caravan hadn’t been cleaned very well and there was dog hair everywhere which isn’t great when you’re allergic! We had to hoover it a couple of times and keep the windows open for a good while in -6degrees! The sofas were also very stained. Overall the site was lovely and a great location for getting to and from places. Supermarket local and a beautiful place to stay.

Would give 5+ for location. Lodge lovely but lacked quantity of cups, plates and cutlery for a family. Also need to be more obvious on website about bringing own towels. Staff interactions were minimal but all were helpful and friendly. Close to a river with stunning scenery. We will definitely be back
