Alte Bock 2.0

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. That was my first stay in Switzerland. I felt like I was staying with family. Sanne and Marco catered to our needs, checked out the bus and train schedule for us. They decorated my room for my birthday and left a bottle of wine. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable with a balcony with a view. The hotel is on the bus route so it is easy to take the bus to the next train station. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who might need to visit Switzerland and stay in that area.

This is by far our FAVOURITE place we stayed on the Haute Route. Sanne and Marco were friendly hosts and happy souls. We all slept like a log - really comfy beds, enjoyed their summer ale, and the quirky bathrooms. Breakfast was fantastic - plenty of it and lots of variety. We booked the hotel spontaneously when we arrived to Grachen. The couple that owns the hotel are very sweet, kind and also with a great sense of humor (😉). They gave us an amazing room, with a very comfortable bed andgreat view of the mountains. They alao helped us a lot with planning the trip- checking on availability of attractions in Zerrmatt & other places in Switserland and even gave us a reccomendation of a hotel at a different region in Switserland. The breakfast was amazing with a large veraity of food. We were sorry we fouldnt stay more
