We stayed for two nights in late February on one of the hotel's winter deals. We just loved it. It's important to get one of the sea view rooms because they are fabulous. The view is stunning. We also ate in the dining room which has the same wonderful views of course. The only thing is that it was harder to appreciate the view in the evening because it was getting dark at about 5.30. At breakfast time we could fully appreciate the view. The food was excellent. Most importantly the all the staff who we encountered were extremely professional, helpful and personable. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Just had a fantastic lunch at The Green bank hotel. The fillet steak was nice but if I'm truly honest way too small. Everyone else had a fantastic meal. Food is excellent but what really made our day was the staff, our waitress was lovely and made sure we were all ok then when we left our car had a flat battery and a young lad (Tyler) went above and beyond and had his own car jumper and made sure we up and away. Amazing staff and that's what makes the experience so much more.

We had a land view room but it was large and comfy with plenty of storage space. The double bed was 2 large singles pushed together so was big. There's parking which can be busy in the evening. Breakfast was table service and tasty. We ate in the restaurant once and the food was delicious but pricey. All staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a drink in the pub and enjoyed the ambience. The atmosphere was relaxed. Only 2 points to note, the hotel is spread out with some stairs for upper rooms and the hotel, although only 10 minutes from the town centre, has a steep hill if you have mobility issues.
