Haus Kolbnitz

It was the cheapest accommodation that we found. We had low expectations, and then when we arrived, it was super clean. The men that welcomed us was so friendly. We stayed the next day until 16, and he didn't want to extra charge us, even though we insisted.

This is a very nice place to stay, the owner is a Dutch man who is very friendly and speeks German fluently and English as well. He's also a good cook as you can see on the picture I posted. The place is located in a small village in a valley between the mountains from where you can visit beautiful nature on a bicycle pr a motorbike but it's very easy to do with a car as well. I really recommend this place to stay if you're considering visiting Austria 🇦🇹

The shared facilities are clean and the rooms are overall decent, but the house has extremely thin walls. As was mentioned in some previous reviews, the music and the party noises from the pub downstairs until 2am were simply unbearable, even with earplugs. Therefore, in case you - as we did - are looking for a quiet place for an overnight, unfortunately we cannot recommend this place...
