Landhaus Gastein

Very clean and beautiful house, the breakfast buffet was exceptional, with a large selection of fresh, regional products. Very nice and friendly owners. The view of the lake is truly priceless 😀. We would gladly come back if we need accommodation nearby. Best regards from Vienna from the three bikers 😀😀😀

We had booked this accommodation based on the location and the reviews. It turned out to be even better than we had expected! Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Mrs. Steiner with a welcome drink of our choice and slices of cake on the beautiful terrace in the large garden. Our room on the third floor was beautiful and spacious. It consisted of a bedroom, bathroom, and a kitchen-diner with a dining area, sofa, and coffee table. There were two (large) balconies, one with a view of the lake and the other of the mountains. The kitchenette (fully equipped) had a filter coffee machine as well as a Tchibo machine with a supply of capsules. Tea was also available. The interior decoration is consistent in style and color. Paintings by Gutav Klimt are everywhere. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. Including fried eggs, pastries, muesli, cold cuts, cheeses, jams, various salads, and fresh fruit. On Sunday, even a glass of sparkling wine. The location was also great. You are at the lake in just over five minutes (on foot). We also borrowed bikes one morning and cycled around the lake. Upon our departure, we even received a nice little gift. Nothing but praise for the Steiner family.

A truly wonderful hostess! Incredibly polite and accommodating. She happily accommodated every request! The country house itself is furnished and decorated with great attention to detail. Picturesque garden, very clean rooms with daily cleaning! The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired! Delicious! The location is ideal, quiet yet central. You can hear the street a little in the evenings with the windows open – but it's not bothersome! The view from the room is lovely! For us, a couple aged 29 and 27, a very successful stay!
