The George

We have been there three times now, for a big family meal. The last time was for a carvery. All three times were amazing and will be going again as soon as possible. There wasn't one complaint about anything. The food was perfect and such lovely staff. They are all very friendly. Best restaurant we have ever been to thanks everyone from the Perry family.

This is definitely not a 4 or 5 star establishment.However food was good which only highlighted the very poor service.if you like a pub from the 80's who sacked the director of cleaning while the manager of hospitality decided to take a day off,then get yourself inside, it will help if your a plumber.Radiator sounds like the flying Scotsman.

Brilliant service, good value and quality food (above expectations for pub grub). Nice atmosphere (even for a Monday in january) and very clean, staff were really attentive in cleaning tables as soon as someone left etc, nice clean bogs, would definitely return
