Winshields Farm Campsite

Great campsite. Malcolm is very helpful. Showers and toilets are spotless. The kitchen and dining room is a massive bonus. It was great to have breakfast and be able to pack my rucksack in the dry. Perfect place to stop from Hadrian's Wall. Nice pub less than half a mile down the road too.

We used as an overnight on our bicycle trip. Friendly owner that provides use of an indoor area for eating and cooking, brilliant if the weather turns rubbish. Fabulous were good. Nice grassy pitch. Location meant we walked to wall and Sycamore gap and the local pub that was excellent.

Me and my son stayed for one night whilst hiking Hadrian’s Wall Path. We recieved a warm, friendly welcome. We pitched in the front field, and had use of a well equipped kitchen. The facilities were generous and very clean. The Twice Brewed is a short (5 min walk) along the road. Highly recommend.
