Hôtel du Glacier des Evettes

We wrote this hotel 5 times during the summer for a reservation in March. They did not reply so we called them and they said they did not take reservations until Sept. They emailed us 19 Sept that we could reserve. We replied that same day and told them we were traveling but were excited to stay with them and would get them a deposit when we returned home in a few days. We emailed a few days later to give them $'s and they said they no longer had a room as they had rented the entire place out to a group! Very disappointing.

I had a pleasant meal at the bar. The staff is pleasant, quick service and they serve local specialities prepared with the “Bleu de Bonneval “ cheese. It’s a nice place to eat with a beautiful view on the sky station.

The hotel of sound. This hotel makes so many strange noises, in kind of a fun way! For example from 5 to 8 in the morning it sounded like someone dropped bucket of ice repeatedly on the floor above, during the day the walls made a squking noise and so on. It ended up being a guessing game and we just laughed at all the strange sounds having no idea what was making them or what they where. Staff was friendly, the restaurant serves traditional food that was good but boring. But every restaurant in the region is more or less the same just serving melted cheese, so.... Yeah, you get kind of tiered of it.
