St. Francis Convent

Had a great nights stay at this convent while passing through on our pilgrimage. Rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean.

Truly horrible & nothing like the photos. Dark downstairs room like a dungeon, very basic, furniture tired, mould in the shower and I had to phone the emergency number for toilet paper because reception isn't attended. Bags have to be left outside. Said there was dinner and breakfast but neither was available. Someone was shouting half the night and I couldn't wait to leave. San Miniato is lovely, but don't stay here

We were walking the via francigena and it was early in the season so when we arrived we didn’t meet anyone but the room was adequate but the location amazing
