Best hotel resort we have ever booked as a family with kids. Superior service and polite staff. It was only available as an "all-inclusive" offer but it was definitely worth it - for us the first *real* all-inclusive holiday with professional bar keepers (I'm just mentioning it because we didn't expect it that good) and overall an extremely mindful and complaisant hotel staff, always taking care of your well-being. The resort is made like a small village with dozens of smaller and bigger houses, some having a private pool. The shared main pool has 3 decks and a bar and towel station. Kids will love the splash pool area with slides and water fun. For quite moments there's also an adult-only pool with snacks and drinks. Or you can swim in the sea, either from the stone beach or the natural pool that is flooded by salty sea water. There are restrooms and bars everywhere in the resort, as well as ice cream, what is great when traveling with kids. You can chill and relax in different places to enjoy the great sea view and sunshine. An app helps you to find the drink and snack menu for every bar or make a reservation for one of the "a la carte" restaurants. Note that the resort is not far away from Funchal Airport so you will see and hear starting and landing planes.

Everyone was super nice and caring. We unfortunately had to change room twice within six days, which is not easy with two kids. The staff really made an effort to make it as easy and smooth as possible. The location is also stunning (as all of Madeira). Some special words: The Kids Club in this hotel has been a wonderful addition to our stay. The staff members are incredibly friendly, caring, and attentive, and they truly make an effort to ensure that every child feels comfortable and welcome. Even though our son does not speak English, the team did their best to communicate with him and help him feel at ease, which we greatly appreciated. Our son enjoyed the Kids Club so much that he wanted to come back every day and was always excited to spend time there. The area is beautifully designed, very child-friendly, and offers many fun activities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although our younger daughter is still under four and therefore not allowed to stay on her own, she was still able to play there with us present and clearly enjoyed the environment as well. For us as parents, it was wonderful to know that our children were in such kind and caring hands. We can highly recommend the Kids Club to other families.

Wish I could put 1/2 stars! Would be a 4.5 for us! Resort is newly renovated and in great conditions. Food quality and service for the price is amazing! The restaurant reservation system works very well and allows generally good service as restaurants are not overwhelmed. The entertainment team is wonderful! We had the opportunity to do a few activities and they always make it a great time: tile painting, bingo, soap making. We felt like the evening entertainment and some of the later “activities” were a little underwhelming. It seems the entertainment team doesn’t work after a certain hour and so the later activities are based on the guests’ “energy”. For example, the silent disco turned into guests sitting at the bar and tuning to the music they wanted rather than dancing. We wished it was a little more like other Hyatt Resorts we had been to where the staff try to actually get the guests involved until the activity ends. Other than that, we had a great stay. It is a very calm resort, which is not always the case in family-friendly resorts.
