Pensión Katrapona

Pensión Katrapona is located right in the old town, overlooking the harbor – a location that couldn’t be better. A real bonus: there’s free parking down by the harbor, which is quite convenient in this area. It was probably the most original accommodation of our trip – stylish, locally authentic, and pleasantly rustic. The rooms are very small, and we honestly didn’t quite know where to put our luggage, but the breathtaking sea view straight from the bed more than made up for it. A place full of character and soul, perfect for travelers who appreciate authentic stays with atmosphere.

We had a such an amazing stay in this hotel. We were welcomed by a friendly staff. Our room (number 15) was one of the best ones we’ve ever stayed. It is so spacious, clean, had the best views and even smelled great! I highly recommend you try their delicious breakfast!

Brilliant stay whilst walking the Camino de Santiago. The hotel has beautiful views over the harbour and sea beyond, beds are comfy, water is hot, and you get a wonderful welcome from the family who own and run it. One of our vary favourite stays on the Camino Del Norte! Great fish restaurant just downstairs where we had a fabulous dinner sitting outside looking out over the sea with a 1 minute walk back to our room afterwards! Cannot recommend more.
