Peters place Hostel

Very nice and special place, with a very personal atmosphere, far better than all the standardized tourist places. Peter offers excellent home made cakes, pies and also soups or sandwiches. He is a very kind host and you feel immediately welcome and at home. I was not aware this is a hostel, too - maybe Google is wrong about that. But as a cafe I would even give 6 stars, if possible.

Excellent cafè

My wife and I stopped in here by chance on our honeymoon in September 2025. In all of the country, it had our favorite baking (all homemade by Peter), our favorite tea, and our favorite ambiance. The quiet, cozy atmosphere with light classical music playing was exactly what we needed after getting out of the cities of the East of the country. Strongly recommend any other Canadians stop in and say hello.
