THE WAVE SURF SCHOOL / BAR / SHOP

After 10 years of surfing and trying out surfschools in various locations, I can confidently say that The Wave is the best one yet, and from far ! Ali is very talented, will give you the tip you need at the right time to make you progress, will go out of his way to coach you in each wave you take, and he manages to establish a very nice atmosphere during the lessons. Not only that, but the entire team of The Wave was very friendly and welcoming throughout the week (thank you to all of you), and made the shop feel like home. Together, the instructors are very good at handling groups with different levels and they manage to dedicate enough time to each person so that everyone can progress. I definitely recommend !

Best surf camp in Somo!! I did classes with other companies as well and La wave is the best! Ramon was a great instructor. Whether it’s your first time surfing or you’re working on different skills, they customize to your level. Compared to other companies, they have a good ratio of instructors to students, which was important to me especially as I was alone. Shoutout to Ali and Sebastian for making La wave a welcoming place!

Our family spent one week in Somo with La Wave School. The instructors, Ramon and Pedrajas, were very patient with our kids and also found time to share helpful tips with us. The instructor-to-student ratio was good, usually one instructor for every 4–5 students. Big thanks to Ali, looking forward to our next trip.
