Hôtel Le K2 Chogori

I stayed at K2 Chogori in Val d’Isère last week and it was genuinely exceptional. From the moment i arrived, the service felt warm, effortless and highly professional, the team anticipates what you need without it ever feeling formal or overbearing. The property itself is absolutely stunning: beautiful alpine design, immaculate throughout, and an atmosphere that feels both exclusive and relaxed. My room (Chogori Suite) was exceptional, the view of the old church, the spacious living area, beautifully furnished in nepalese style, extremely comfortable, and perfectly located just steps away from the slopes, restaurants, shops & bars in the village centre. The wellness facilities were a real highlight after a day on the mountain: calm, spotless and exactly what you want for recovery. The Bottleneck restaurant was incredible. Everything was seamless: check-in, service, housekeeping, and the overall attention to detail. If you’re looking for a true 5-star experience in Val d’Isère, I couldn’t recommend K2 Chogori more highly.

Although, my family did not stay at the hotel, their fine dining restaurant was a memorable experience for Christmas Eve. Although we showed up at 7:30 pm without a reservation, on a very busy night as could be expected, the staff was very welcoming and looked into accommodating us. We had the option of the Bar, which we were going to take, but the found a spot for our family in the restaurant at that time and it was exactly what we were looking for. Ambiance was excellent and festive with background singer, food was amazing, we had the escargot, beef Wellington and Trout Wellington, excellent wine, cocktails and dessert. Above all, was the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff, which made us feel cared for and that we were at the right location. A memorable Christmas Eve dining experience. Thank you.

My wife and I spend 5 days at the hotel and we loved every moment. The rooms are spectacular and the service is impeccable. Only negative thing I would say is that the junior suite has no views. That’s a bit of a downer but when we complained about that we were upgraded to their Kamara suite which was mind blowing. This is the 2nd K2 property we have started in after Courchavel and both experiences were top notch. Can’t wait for them to open in Maldives
