Glengarry Lodges

Please be aware when reading older reviews that some lodges have been completely renovated and are immaculate. I can't vouch for all of them but certainly lodges 1, 3 & 6 (now owned by lochviewlodges.co.uk) We stayed in Lodge 3 and it was lovely, fully equipped and felt brand new. Location is amazing, yes it's 2 miles down a small road but there are plenty of passing places. Miles of walks on the Great Glen Way in both directions. There was also a good wifi connection, fast enough for streaming.

Pretty basic lodges that haven't had much maintenance or refreshing recently. The rooms were damp, water in the shower was weak, and electricity was charged separately. On the bright side there was a nice Loch view from the balcony and it was clise to the nearby floating bar/restaurant (which is excellent).

Five of us went on a Fishing trip all males we are used to camping out so the lodge was a bit of luxury to us, but in saying that I have to say I am glad that I was not with my wife as the lodges are in need of a severe upgrade, the shower was basically none existing just a small run of water the tiles were probably grouted in the 70s the furniture was all from the 70s and 80s but to us it was just a place to sleep and hang out definitely not a place to take females. We had a great time.
