We had a wonderful weekend stay. Both the village and the hotel are absolutely spectacular, with breathtaking surroundings. The staff deserve a special mention: extremely kind, approachable, and always happy to help. The shuttle service to and from the train station, as well as before and after skiing, was outstanding — always punctual and without any waiting time, which made everything very easy and comfortable. Breakfast was good overall, although it could be improved slightly in terms of coffee and juice service management. Apart from that small point, everything was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

We spent the weekend at Grand Hotel Belvedere in Wengen, and we loved our stay. Everything was perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had a beautiful view on the Jungfrau with a private terrace. We loved the style of the hotel with the Alpine touch. We had everything we needed in the room (good quality shampoo, body lotion, minibar, slippers, bath robes, speaker etc). The service we experienced was super friendly, attentive and fast. The highlight of our stay was the spa and the fondue for dinner! The chef creates super delicious meals with plenty of plant-based options which I highly appreciate. We would come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Hotel Belvedere for the weekend with the wifey and enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a basic room in the main building which we found adequate in size and very well decorated. The entire hotel was recently refurbished by a French group (Beaumier) and they've done an excellent job on the renovation. The bed, sheets and bathroom were all top quality. Drawers/wardrobes were missing space to put our things (mostly occupied by things they are trying to sell you). The service is plenty and attentive. It is up to international standard but it lacks a Swiss touch (maybe because all staff is from, I am guessing, one of their hotels in Spain). We were very happy with breakfast quality as well as dinner. The new Spa is also really a big plus as it is beautiful and has all that you can dream of (+Jungfrau views!) 3 suggested points of improvement: 1. better wine options and drinks in general - wine is crazily priced and not a lot of choice (no 5dl options either) - we live in Geneva, which is expensive, and yet wine/drinks seemed like a ripoff to us but maybe international tourists are OK with that 2. Swiss touch is missing, despite the location. Would suggest maybe Swiss concierge and 1-2 staff? It's good to have a mix of international and local staff and it was not the case at all 3. Enforce no smartphones in Spa area. I found it crazy that people are taking selfies and videos when everyone is trying to relax in their swimsuit All in all, a very good stay but not exactly the perfect Swiss weekend getaway
