Alpen Resort Schrofenblick

We had a pleasant holiday in Schrofenblick Resort. Our room was tidy and felt like new, we enjoyed Spa facilities everyday and it was very convenient to use ski bus services, because bus stop is just in front of the door. We liked the place so much we are considering staying here next winter.

We’ve stayed at Schrofenblick twice now, experiencing rooms in both the Penken and Horberg buildings. The Penken rooms feature a fresh, typical Austrian alpine style after recent renovations. The Horberg apartments maintain a classic alpine look in very good condition. This season we had Horberg Room 1 on the basement level. The hillside location means basement apartments actually have garden access. However, our double apartment had one windowless bedroom positioned between the toilet and living room. The lack of ventilation created a musty smell, and the room wasn’t as thoroughly cleaned as the rest - bed lights revealed spiders and cobwebs at the ceiling as well as dust on the bed and the bed frame. The location is decent, with Mayrhofen a 20-minute walk away and reasonable bus connections. Sauna is absolutely sufficient! Kitchen is well equipped.

Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel, friendly stuff, equipped rooms with all you need. Ski room in the entrance with skiboxes, Ski bus station is infront of the hotel. The spa area is perfect. Luna restaurant is also very nice
