Hotel El Tajo & SPA

I have to start by saying that one of the receptionists who greeted us should try exceptionally hard to be more courteous. Upon checking in, I informed the receptionist that I had tried calling the hotel no less than 10 times and all I got was a repeated answering machine I also sent an email with 3 requests none of which I got a reply for and she clearly informed me that if they were busy then they will not reply which I honestly thought was pathetic. She should really try changing her attitude simply because if travellers are tired or moody and when confronting such a moody and obnoxious personality it will regrettably reflect badly on the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The Spa is beautifully equipped and most enjoyable for sure well worth visiting again. Maybe I was too tired but that was very relaxing The garage and parking is very well accessible. Lastly, the lady who gave us the massage was very professional and released 2 trapped nerves and I'm most grateful.

Very relaxing hotel. Very friendly personnel. Great parking that is accessible from within the hotel (a very big plus in our experience in Spain). Great breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location within walking distance to all the major sights.

Just a one night stay. Likely long enough for any visit to this smallish city/town. The location was great. Close to the top of the main, car free shopping boulevard. A short walk to the two or three main attractions here. A safe and entertaining neighborhood. The suit we enjoyed was a roomy double room good for 2 couples or a family. Kind of a funky smell when you enter, but can be aired out with windows, if your room does have any. Our bathroom was quite roomy. Quite clean looking Nice looking breakfast area that we didn't use. Friendly, multilingual staff at front. Good place
