Hostal La Fuen

I am here because I walk the GR11. The owner was very nice and let me use her washing machine for a few euros. This allowed me to have some normal social life again and I am very grateful. Stayed two nights to rest. There is two restaurants and two supermarkets around, but not really much to do if you do not have a car. Very good price and fully justified.

Lovely hostel. Rooms are clean and big enough with their own bathroom and even a bathtub. Prices are great regarding what you get. Meals are not included however there is a restaurant next to. Beautiful views from their balconies. There is no lift. Parking lot next to the hostel. Highly recommended if you are following GR-11 because for a night you can enjoy a warm bed and no noise.

Great little inexpensive hotel on the border of France of Spain. The only reasons to come here are a) you are travelling through b) you are French and you want to buy cheap alcohol and food in the two Spanish super markets c) you are a long distance hiker doing the trail from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean (the GR 11 or the Haute Route Pyrenees). Hidden behind the road is Parian, where the locals live, a sweet little hamlet. One hotel , some apartments, two supermarkets, two or three restaurants (the one attached to the hotel is good and is busy. I loved it.
