Camping Kamne

This campsite saved our lives. It is very hard to find a place to stay in this area without a reservation. The campsite is very nicely equipped. There is a small playground for children. It is extremely safe for families—no cars are driving around. Showers are available in the shared building. If you want to hike Triglav, the highest peak in Slovenia, you can rent a harness at the reception. It is also a great base if you want to visit the famous Lake Bled, as it is a short drive away. Importantly, it is much cheaper than staying in Bled itself.

Very good grassy pitches, easy to pitch a tent and the undercover washing lines were great. Brilliant views from the campsite and an ideal location for us to get the bus to the vrata valley to ascend Triglav. Toilets and showers were clean. You had to pay 50 cent for showers, but they had good water pressure and were hot so we didn't mind.

This camping location in nice place. We stayed two nights in a tent. Common places were very clean. But one moment was surprising for me. Kitchen is close at 9 p m. even if it’s heavy raining. We were there when during big thunderstorm and many people wanted to eat and sit somewhere. We didn’t have this possibility. It’s made worse our inspiration from camping.
