Antica Fonte

Antica Fonte was the perfect place to stay to explore Assisi. It is walking distance to one part of the city and a very close 5 minute drive. The host, Paolo, was also lovely, very welcoming and friendly and full of many helpful tips. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. It even had a small kitchen which made travelling with a baby very easy. We hope to be able to stay again Alex, Tonino and Giulia

We stayed 3 nights and the location is great for Assisi. The setting of the property and attention to detail are superb and Paolo is a great host, always ready to help. The kitchen area is a little limited for anyone wanting to cook but that’s a minor detail. Thank you Paolo for making us so welcome!

If you're seeking an authentic Umbrian experience away from the touristy center of Assisi, Antica Fonte checks all of the boxes. We stayed three nights. The room was comfortable and the scenery gorgeous. The owner, Paolo, is an amiable and helpful host. Assisi Old City is technically within walking distance via a steep road up the hill. Breakfast consists of a variety of fresh breads, pastries, and yogurt. The only negative is that the WiFi was very spotty, but this is a great place to just disconnect from that world :)
