Terrassencamping Ossiacher See

Perfect location on south west view on the lake Osiachersee. Lake has confortable temperature. Entertainment for kids and two play areas. Be sure to get a shaded place, in high season it may get very hot on the Terrace places.

We were camping with tents. Right next to the lake, gorgeous view. Supermarket and restaurant on site, very nice staff. Pitches due to rain muddy, but continously taken care to restore them. Quite loud until 11pm, with all the kids running around.

Beautiful views over Ossiacher See from most pitches on this terraced site. We have quite a big motorhome (9.3m), and it only just fitted on the pitch. We also had to reverse all the way out when leaving, as a very sharp turn at the end of each terrace is only really suitable for smaller vehicles. We could have pitched elsewhere with better access but the views from there were not so good. We saw a couple of smaller motorhomes and caravans struggling with this too. Only 6A electrics and limited places for motorhomes to refill with water, or dump grey waste. Lots of sanitary facilities and all very clean but quite dated too. Very good restaurant and shop on site and friendly reception staff all speaking good English. Gave up with the WiFi on the pitch - it worked nearer to reception but was really slow anyway, so I just used my own 4G.
