Pros: Room was excellent. New furniture and appliances. A great view of the mountains. 2 washrooms and nice kitchen. Cons: bottom of an extremely steep slope. The first night, I almost fell in the dark with my 50 lbs suitcase. Reading the other reviews, it appears there may have been a shuttle. Nobody told us about it! Very disappointing. Secondly, there was no air conditioning. The rooms get very hot at night and require windows to be opened. We were located on the first floor so it was dangerous to keep the windows open at night. There are also no nets, so the bugs fly in when you try to ventilate. Lastly, it was an expectation to carry the garbage at check out to the train station. That’s actually so ridiculous! How can you ask your guest to lug garbage up a steep hill?

Beautiful spacious, comfortable and quiet chalet! We enjoyed our stay here! Great views from the balcony watching the sun rise in the morning. The only con is as others mentioned it’s at bottom of a steep slope. There’s an elevator that helps a little bit but it’s still 400m walk up a steep hill. Fortunately you can book a shuttle for arrival and departure using WhatsApp so no need to worry about luggage on the hill. The private washer/dryer was nice. Overall this is a great option for the Lauterbrunnen area!

This place is nice and has all new appliances and furniture, but there were a few downsides. We couldn't find an air conditioner, so we had to open the windows, but there are no screens on the windows so many bugs were able to fly in. The kitchen and 2nd bedroom are horribly cramped - there is hardly any room to walk around the furniture. Finally, the chalets are at the bottom of a steep slope, a 10min walk from the train station. We knew that going in, but it was a bigger inconvenience than we expected. They offer a shuttle up the hill, but we called once and they did not come, which they apologized for later
