Just returned from my 2nd visit to Newbold Camping and have to say I love it here. First visited in NYD 2025. The campsite is tucked away in a quiet corner of the village within easy walking distance of 2 good pubs, access to the Pennine Way is just around the corner and Mam Tor and Kinder Scott are also close by. The site has a small shop for essentials and a lovely cafe/bar which also serves a good breakfast. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Since my last visit a new shower block has been built and it's very modern and clean. If you like the outdoors and want closeness to nature you will not be disappointed

It's a big old site and it's proximity to kinder makes it ideal for early starts. There is a great pub but it gets really full really fast beer is nice and there is a nice atmosphere. Campsite facilities are fantastic but far too few in number. Ground can be soft in places but all in all pretty good

A review that is a few months overdue, but myself along with many friends stayed here in October as part of my own community group Step above. The majority did 2 nights some did 1 but everyone loved it. The adaptability of it having a cafe/bar, pizza is brilliant and creates such a good atmosphere and vibe on site having such resources. The staff and lady we spoke to were really fair, sound, understanding and accommodating in letting us have a nice little set up of a group of us all. No fusses, everyone turned up at different times and all of us loved the place, the facilities, played footy, had pizza, had a laugh and the weekend in general was top tier . Cant recommend this place enough and we are all desperately hoping to plan something soon for this summer!
