Hotel Restaurant Espen

I had a pleasant stay at Espen. It’s a little bit out of the center of town, so more walking or the bus is required. Good breakfast and clean room

They had placed a product (Nussgipfel) on the shelf near the exit without any price shown. I thought it was complimentary and took two pieces, but later they told me I had to pay. This situation caused me embarrassment. In Switzerland, the price must be clearly displayed to the customer before purchase — it is not reasonable to take something without knowing the price. Beautiful Location, but a bit far from most things. Breakfast was good, dinner was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The shower was amazing, and the room was spotless. I stayed in a large group room with several bunk beds.
