We left Landhaus Achental just a few days ago to continue our holiday in St Johann in Tirol. The week we spent at the Familie Stackler home exceeded all our hopes and expectations. The quiet location to the outskirts of the small town of Pertisau was perfect. We enjoyed the walk to the lakeside, or the longer walk to Maurach and the swimming pool leisure complex. We used the bus on a number of occasions (free with the visitor card) with the bus stops just a short distance away. The house was spotlessly clean and our room, No. 13, was very spacious with large bed and seating area. There was a large balcony, which caught the early morning sun until about 10.00, which was great as the room stayed that bit cooler (the weather was amazing, wall to wall sunshine but a little too hot at times). The TV was large, though we only watched the news channels. Breakfast was served in the basement dining room and was really good, with an extensive choice of bread rolls, cold meats, cheeses and eggs. Frau Stackler went out of her way to make my wife the toast we requested. I very seldom write reviews, but on this occasion felt I must go all out to recommend Landhaus Achental. My wife and I will be 79 next year, so it is unlikely we will be returning again, but I feel sure many younger visitors will return time and again.

A lovely spotless 1 bedroom apartment in a pension at the top of the Pertisau valley. The owners were so helpful & nothing was too much trouble. We were self catering but were able to use their coffee machine in the dining room. Very good coffee @ only €2 a cup. The apartment was flat access with a small hallway where I could charge my power chair. A small kitchenette gave us a fridge, 2 ring ceramic hob, kettle & filter coffee machine. The bathroom looked newly renovated. Towels/teatowels were provided along with condiments. A lovely view up the valley and outside seating with a tidy manicured garden. A stream ran across the top of the view. We will be going back & definitely recommend, as Helga, Siegi & Marco were brilliant hosts. Thank you so much for everything.

We spontaneously booked a week-long stay and had a wonderful time. Our apartment, number 20, was equipped with a new kitchen and very tastefully furnished. We had a fantastic view of the mountains. The house is in a quiet location and has a beautiful and very well-maintained garden! The Stackler family are very friendly hosts who run the country house with heart and soul. Every morning we looked forward to the delicious breakfast with fresh scrambled eggs, rolls, fresh fruit, and everything else you could wish for. We will definitely be back!!! Best regards, Steffi and Björn
