Tenuta Sovestro - Agriturismo e Winery

Stopped for a tasting (which was fantastic) and ended up staying a night. Beautiful rooms in the old farmhouse, and a wonderful meal in the restaurant. The rooms were quiet and beds comfortable. Easy walk into town, or a free shuttle is available. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for 4 nights for my 40th birthday and it was absolutely amazing! My husband setup a surprise the morning of my birthday which the hotel organized - bubbles, gorgeous fruit plate, and flowers. So sweet. It’s a very peaceful property with a nice pool. We booked the junior suite with panoramic views and balcony. It was the only room with a balcony and it was quiet and away from the other rooms. Was able to get some amazing birthday photos! Would definitely love to stay again. It was the highlight of our trip. They provided a shuttle to and from town which was nice coming back at night. The walk back from town was very beautiful so def recommend doing that. We loved being so close to town but also in a tranquil hotel not too far away. Best of both worlds. The bed and pillows were comfy! And the water pressure was great!

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was a highlight of our trip! The staff is friendly, the hotel and BnB are absolutely beautiful. The free shuttle to San Gimignano was a plus. If it’s a nice day, shuttle there and walk back as it is a cool downhill walk back to the hotel. The breakfast is pretty good, and each room has AC which was a lifesaver. The 3 pools are amazing, but the grotto pool was a dream (we had it our to ourselves). If I go back to Italy, I am skipping the big cities and staying solely at Tenuta Sovestro.
